In May of 2004 a limited edition eyeshadow named Parrot was released in a sizzling summer collection called Salsabelle. Parrot and collection counterpart Guacamole became smash hits and propelled a buying frenzy from MAC enthusiasts across the country when the shade quickly sold out from both stores and online. After Parrot’s release in Salsabelle it reappeared later in that same year in the Jewel Holiday ‘04 palette. Parrot continues to be a sought after and hard to find limited edition MAC product with a single shadow fetching up to $70 on eBay. Well, ladies the wait for Parrot’s return to counters will soon be over!

The Originals is a collection of popular older and limited edition products, eyeshadows, lipsticks, lipglosses, pigments and even some of the new Reflects Glitter which is currently a Pro Store only item. Many of the products featured in this collection will be reformulated to be better than their original counterparts, hence why some of the names aren’t dead ringers for older colors.
